BCHS Cheer Tryouts Updated Info!! Tuesday August 6 and Wednesday August 7, 4-6:30 will be required tryout practice, and both JV and Varsity coaches will stay after until 8 for those who want extra help or to work on extra skills 🙂 Thursday August 8, cheer tryouts will be held from 4:00-6:00. Friday, August 9 will be the first competition cheer practice. Any girl interested in competition cheerleading need to stay after school Friday from 3:30-6:30. This is mandatory for anyone wanting to do competition cheer! REMINDER - No activity bus on Friday ‼️

BACK TO SCHOOL info has just been sent by postal mail and email to parents/guardians. If you did not receive an email from lucym@bath.k12.va.us then your email in parent portal needs to be updated. If you do not receive a letter in the postal mail within a few days, please contact the school to make sure we have your correct address on file. The online registration needs to be completed before the Back to School day on Tuesday, August 6th.

Cheerleading open gym - Saturday August 3 from 3:00-5:30. Anyone grades 8-12 are welcome! Cheer tryouts will be Monday August 5-Thursday August 8 from 3:30-5:30. JV and Varsity teams will ve announced Friday August 9 and the first official practice will be Monday August 12 :

BACK TO SCHOOL DAY will be held on Tuesday, August 6th. 8th Grade Orientation will be from 1-3pm and Upper Class 9th-12th will be from 3-7pm. It is mandatory for a parent/guardian to be present. The Principal will hold a parent meeting at 2pm and 6pm in the BCHS Auditorium. Parents/Guardians are encouraged to attend one of these meetings.

Come out Saturday, July 20th and support the class of 2026! 1/2 chicken dinners with sides, and dessert for $13 or a free-will donation! Dinners will be ready by 1pm and can be picked up at the Millboro Rescue Squad and BCHS in the new parking lot!

Our final staff Spotlight for the 2023-2024 year goes to Dinah Johnson! Thank you to all of our amazing teachers and staff for all you do! We are so thankful to have you all here at BCHS.

Graduation Weekend is here!! Capping and Graduation practice will happen at 9am on Thursday, May 30th in the auditorium. Senior night will be on Friday, May 31st at 7pm in the auditorium. Seniors and cappers are asked to be at school by 6:30pm to line up. Graduation will be on Saturday, June 1st at 10am. Seniors are asked to be at the school by 9am. Each senior will be given 6 reserved tickets for family members after the capping practice. There will be open availability for the remaining seats on a first come first serve basis.

Our 2023-2024 yearbooks sold out so fast we had to order more! This is the last batch, meaning your last chance to take home the memories. We currently have less than 15 copies available! Books are sold on a first come, first serve basis. Contact us today to get your copy!

JV & Varsity players & parents are invited to attend the BCHS 2024 Baseball & Basketball awards on June 4 at 6PM. At the Picnic shelter at Bath County Parks and Rec Department. Reminder! BCHS is offering FREE Sports physicals during the school day on Tuesday, May 28th, 2024! Any student planning to participate in sports will need a current physical! Forms must be turned in before the physicals will take place. Contact the office (540-839-2431 - or message us here) for a printable copy of the physical forms.

Our final staff spotlight this week goes to Dominique Spurgeon!!

Last month our students were able to get out of the school and head into the "cities!" The Forensics Club, headed up by SRO superhero Thomas McRoberts, went to Roanoke to visit the Virginia Department of Forensic Science! The Drama Club, led by front office extraordinaire Jess Hiner, went to Staunton to Blackfriar's Playhouse. Thanks to the generosity of The Bath County Arts Association we were able to completely pay for tickets to see "Pride & Prejudice" and lunch! We are so thankful to be able to take all these students out of Bath County for a day of fun and learning!
